Scope:

This tabletop exercise is planned for 9:30am–12:30pm and will be held virtually. Exercise play is limited to participating organizations and information provided in the Situation Manual.

Protection, Response, and Recover

Capabilities:

Screening, Search, and Detection, Infrastructure Systems, Public Information and Warning, Operational Communications, Operational Coordination, Health and Social Services

Objectives:

1. Evaluate the facility’s ability to identify, monitor, and respond to an unknown infectious disease outbreak. 

2. Assess facility continuity of operations (COOP) plans to provide high-quality care in an emergency. 

3. Assess internal and external risk communication systems with residents, families, staff, media, and partner agencies. 

4. Review facility emergency operations planning, evaluation, and improvement.
