Dementia and Health Care Provider Roles

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has created training materials to help teach health care workers about dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. Those who may benefit from these materials include health professions faculty, students, primary care practitioners, members of geriatrics care teams, and direct service workers.

The following series of 16 modules focuses on outpatient care, as people living with dementia often stay in their homes during the early stages of the disease. Each module includes a PowerPoint presentation, extensive references, and a training guide.
